Spring has finally sprung! As the last dredges of winter make their way out, and we can finally begin to stop and smell the roses, it’s also a good time to remind ourselves to take the time to appreciate our beautiful planet.
While April 22 is Earth Day, here at Potomac Lifestyle, we are celebrating the planet all month long with our “Eco” issue.
Here in this issue, we highlight the people and places in our community who are committing to keeping this planet beautiful—from local farms using sustainable practices and eco-friendly organizations giving back to the community to farm-to-table restaurants focused on local ingredients to fuel-efficient vehicles for sale at local dealerships.
But, you don’t have to be a farmer or business owner to do your part. Shop at the local farmers market and support local growers, visit local businesses who create eco-friendly products or even just start recycling.
No matter what you do, we at Potomac Lifestyle support your “green” efforts.
As always, we can’t wait to see you around.
Lifestyle Publications takes great care in the material and provided content it publishes. To that end, Lifestyle Publications must retract the Open House feature published on page 20 in the January 2018 issue of Potomac Lifestyle, which included certain misstatements about the home sale and photos submitted.
Correction: Group Work article in the March Issue: An article entitled Group Work, which appeared on page 18 of the March issue of Potomac Lifestyle, misspelled the name of the owner of Lemon Collective. It is Holley Simmons, not Holly. Potomac Lifestyle regrets the error.
